TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE???
It is said that if something sounds too good
to be true, it probably is. No one can argue with that statement. It
is 100% true. But note the word "probably". There is a
chance that it is too good to be true. Always remember, that also means
there is a chance that it is true.
Too good to be true? This is what
renowned motivational speaker, Les Brown, has to say on the subject.
"There was a part of
me, there was a chatter chatter - you see, 87% of our self talk, how we explain
things to ourselves, is negative. That's been given to us by life.
87% of our self talk is negative because we live in a negative environment.
We think 40 to 50 thousand thoughts a day, according to may psychologists.
So in order to begin
to create what you want, one of the things that you're gonna have to do is use
some tools, as you work and begin to develop a different kind of mind-set for
you and your future, and to change that inner conversation and your thinking
orientation. I guarantee you that you will change the results that you
produce this year and all the years to come in your life.
I'm telling you this
based on my experience. ....
As you start believing
that you are worthy of good things (that are) supposed to happen to you, you
develop a sense of entitlement! Good things (are) supposed to happen to
me! It's not too good to be true! It's happening to the right
person, me!"
- Les Brown.
"Choosing Your Future Seminar. Part 1 - It's Possible!"
Something always sounds too good to be true
when the norm for us is below what we're told we can achieve. When we're
struggling to survive, when all we know is hard work - very hard work for many
hard years - the thought of our dreams coming true seems too good to be true.
Believe it or not, it sounded too good to be
true to me when I saw that I could link up with a solid US company that would
send me an ATM card that I could use here in Jamaica to access money. But
the day I walked into that National Commercial Bank ATM and withdrew $7,000 I
found out that it was true. THAT'S REALITY!
It sounds too good to be true that you could
easily earn enough to live comfortably and afford the things you want, doesn't
it? But hey, others are doing in it. Not on Mars. But right
here on earth. What is it that they have that you don't have? If
they can do it, why do you think it is beyond you?
We live in a world of opportunities.
People are coming to realize that in order to put bread on the table you need to
WORK HARD, but to make a fortune you only need to WORK SMART.
Network Marketing is paving the way for ordinary people like you and me make a
fortune.
It sounded too good to be true when the
Wright Brothers decided to invent a vehicle to fly in the sky. Today Air
Jamaica knows that it is true. THAT'S REALITY!
It sounded too good to be true when Jesus
told Peter he could walk on water. How could Peter believe that? He was
never able to do that before.
Didn't it sound too good to be true when Rene
Simoes promised he would take the Reggae Boys to the 1998 World Cup? I
still remember the critics who claimed that he was not being realistic. I
remember them saying that 2002 was a better prospect. Ironic, isn't it,
that the Boyz never made it in 2002? It honestly sounded too good to be
true, to me, that I would be able to sit a home and watch the Reggae Boyz in the
world cup in the Summer of 1998. But I did. THAT'S REALITY!
Simoes knew that IF certain things were in
place, they could make it.
IF you decide to make a change in your life
and encourage others to do the same. If they take your cue and act, and if
the ripple effect happens - and it will happen - you WILL experience the results
that the North Wind promises. THAT'S REALITY!
I thought it was too good to be true.
But I have my ATM card. I have made more money in 3 weeks than I was able
to make in 3 years from an Internet Business Opportunity. I have had
conversations with folks from the North Wind in the US. I have sat at my
desk and viewed my account status. I have had the DISTINCT
PLEASURE of hearing other persons calling me - excited - first when they
received their ATM cards and secondly, when they withdrew money with it.
NOW THAT'S REALITY FOR YOU!!!
I have to agree that this sounds too good to
be true. BUT I KNOW IT IS TRUE. I've had my taste of North
Wind. Be sure to get yours.
